Who the winter garage curtain suits
A good fit when
A heated garage loses its warmth the moment the big door lifts. This curtain covers the whole opening in padded fabric, Oxford on both faces with a thick cotton filling, and you pass through a magnetic seam in the middle.
All four sides are widened so the hook-and-loop frame holds along the whole edge. Weighted sticks keep the bottom down in wind, and side buckles tie the curtain back when the car has to come through.
Know before you buy
- It is solid: the garage gets no daylight through it.
- It is heavier than mesh, so fix the frame strip carefully and use the tacks.
- It slows heat loss. It is not a sealed, insulated garage door.

Order by your opening, not by the curtain
Measure the width
Run the tape across the opening, from the inside face of one side of the frame to the other. Write it in inches.
Measure the height
From the floor to the underside of the top of the frame. Garage floors slope, so measure at both sides and keep the larger number.
Find the size in the table
Look for the row whose range holds your two numbers. If you are between sizes, take the larger screen.

I have to say I am extremely impressed with these I bought 2 .... They are light blocker and in my case, that works out perfectly, the magnitude is strong. I've gotten in the past the other ones that are screened, and I don't like them, they're not as well made as these. These are quilted but not overly thick you can push through easily and the magnets are strong it snaps back immediately without having to fuss with lining up the magnets. I give it a 10 out 10
